The mission of The ADDUP PROJECT. (ADDUP), a nonprofit agency located in Arlington, VA, is to empower at-risk students in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential. Through collaborative programming with schools and other community-based organizations, we provide educational and mentoring opportunities to enhance the academic performance, community connections, and career options of the youth. ADDUP matches adult volunteer mentors with students in a one-to-one or group setting. ADDUP ensures program quality and performance related to recruiting, screening, matching, monitoring, and closing the relationship with the mentor and mentee, and communicates with the mentor, parent/guardian, and mentee throughout the relationship.
